What you get
We focus on three carefully studied areas of the face where
wrinkles often form – and where botox is FDA-approved and proven to work:
Lines that show when you raise your brow.
Frown lines, known also as "elevens".
Eye lines that show while smiling or squinting.
In front of a mirror, raise your eyebrows. Now furrow them. Now make an exaggerated smile. Are you seeing lines form or showing more dramatically? Treating these lines now will effectively prevent their advance!
Wrinkle treatments at Peachy come FDA-approved and are broadly effective for every face and skin type. We can’t say you’ll lose every last wrinkle since each face responds to treatment in its own way. But considerably finer lines – and fewer of them – certainly is something you can look forward to while treatment remains active (3–4 months for most).
It’s best to avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication (Advil, Aspirin and the like) at least 24 hours beforehand, unless prescribed or instructed by your doctor. OTC topical numbing creams are safe to apply 30 minutes before treatment.
After your appointment, it’s important to prevent the risk of treatment migrating where it shouldn’t. Avoid lying down at least 4 hours after your botox treatment, and postpone vigorous exercise for the next 24 hours as well.
Studied for more than 30 years, botox is known to have very minimal side effects (and adverse effects are rare). This is what makes it such a broadly popular option for wrinkle care! The most common side effects are bruising, although minimal, and mild redness/swelling at injection sites. Side effects are temporary and will clear within the first 30 minutes. Our providers are happy to cover any and all treatment concerns during consultation.
No fillers here! Wrinkle prevention is our one and only focus at Peachy, which we personalize for every face through a preventative blend of botox, prescription retinoids, and zinc-based sunscreens.
Yes! Immediately after the injections, you can expect small, “mosquito-like” bumps that with proper icing will self-resolve within 15–20 minutes. We keep fresh ice packs at each studio as well as a curated space to refresh before getting back to it!
While every face responds to botox differently, we suggest cadencing treatment every 3 months. This maintains the life of your results and ensures you aren’t reverting to facial movements that promote wrinkling in the first place!
All of the neuromodulators we carry (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®) are FDA-approved and carry the same active ingredient: Botulinum toxin type A. All products last a comparable amount of time and provide you with similar results, but some are dosed differently or contain different inactive ingredients. You can discuss this with a Peachy Provider!
We focus treatment on the 3 areas currently approved by the FDA: the glabella (between the eyebrows), frontalis (forehead), and lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet). Focusing treatment here comes after decades of research affirming safety and efficacy with botox in these areas. It’s how we ensure remarkable results!
Dosing. Few factors determine the physical effects of botox than where it’s administered on the face and the amount used. For those getting botox, the sweet spot for wrinkle prevention – what we call your ideal dose – refines existing lines while leaving room for the expressions that make your look uniquely you.
Dosing is very much a science, and highly individualized. With wrinkles, we see a path to prevention in every face. If you’re looking to learn a bit more about treatment, feel free to book a consult with us. Not only are they complimentary (as in $0.00), consults are for uncovering your greater skincare goals and building the path to make those goals a reality for what’s well worth protecting – your look.
